CFM International secures fresh Leap-1A engine business from Abra and lessors

Abra Group, a Latin American holding company, has finalized an agreement with CFM International to power fifty Airbus A320neo family aircraft using the Leap-1A engines. The announcement was made on July 21st and represents a significant expansion of the Leap engine’s footprint in the region. This new order includes a comprehensive services package encompassing spare engines for both the Leap-1A and -1B variants. CFM will supply spare engines for the Leap-1A and -1B engines as part of this deal. Abra's selection underscores confidence in the performance and reliability of the CFM International Leap-1A engine.
