MTU secures US$500m in Farnborough orders

MTU Aero Engines announced approximately US$500 million in new orders during the Farnborough International Airshow, fueled by robust demand for its products across various aircraft programs. The majority of these orders stem from narrow-body and regional aircraft initiatives, with Pratt & Whitney GTF engines being a key selection. British Airways, Tigerair Taiwan, and lessor Jackson Square have all chosen the GTF engine for use within Airbus A320neo-family aircraft.
