CFM International has finalized an agreement with Abra Group to equip fifty Airbus A320neo family aircraft with LEAP-1A engines. These new engines will be delivered to Avianca, bolstering a longstanding partnership between the two companies. The order encompasses the remaining 50 aircraft within Avianca’s initial 134-aircraft A320neo-family purchase commitment. Furthermore, this deal includes a comprehensive services package for CFM International. This expansion of the relationship also provides support for GOL's Boeing 737 MAX fleet, solidifying CFM’s position in the Latin American aviation market.
