BOC Aviation orders up to 220 Pratt & Whitney PW1100G engines

BOC Aviation has secured an order for a substantial quantity of Pratt & Whitney PW1100G engines, marking the largest single purchase made by the lessor. This new agreement encompasses up to 220 engines specifically designed for Airbus A320neo family aircraft. The deal will power approximately 110 of these modern airliners, according to BOC Aviation’s statement. This latest transaction follows shortly after BOC Aviation finalized a separate contract for 300 CFM International engines. The move underscores BOC Aviation's continued expansion and commitment to supporting the growing demand within the narrow-body aircraft market.
