Vietnam's Bamboo Airways Halts Scheduled Flights Months After Reviving Boeing 787 Plans

Bamboo Airways of Vietnam is suspending scheduled flights after several months of planning to reinstate its Boeing 787 Dreamliner program. The airline’s fleet size has been dramatically decreased, transitioning from a total of eight aircraft to a current operation consisting of only three planes. Specifically, Bamboo Airways eliminated five aircraft from its roster following the initial revival of their 787 ambitions. Currently, only one of these three aircraft is actively engaged in service operations. This reduction reflects strategic adjustments within the company's overall business strategy and operational capabilities.
