The 5 Guard Squadrons Flying The US Air Force's Last F-15Cs, A-10s & Early F-16s

Five United States Air Force guard squadrons are currently operating the final remaining aircraft in their respective fleets – specifically, the F-15C Eagle, A-10 Thunderbolt II Warthog, and early production F-16 Fighting Falcon models. These units, based across the country, represent the culmination of decades of service for these iconic fighter jets. The five squadrons have been tasked with maintaining operational readiness utilizing these legacy platforms. All five aircraft are scheduled to be flown to Davis-Monthan Air Base in Arizona before being transferred to the Boneyards at Edwards Air Force Base. This marks the end of an era for these particular airframes within the US Air Force.
