SMBC Aviation Capital orders 100 Boeing 737 Max aircraft

SMBC Aviation Capital announced a significant order for 100 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, marking the lessor’s initial purchase of the largest variant, the Max 10. The deal includes 40 Boeing 737 Max 8 airplanes and 60 Boeing 737 Max 10 airplanes. These aircraft will be powered by CFM International Leap-1A engines, with 35 A320neo-family aircraft receiving this engine configuration. Currently, the order is awaiting certification from relevant authorities before deliveries can commence.
