Singapore’s homegrown eVTOL completes flight testing

Singapore's Nanyang Technological University (NTU) has finalized its three-year research and development program for an electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. Flight tests were conducted in Germany during July, marking the culmination of this extensive effort. The trials involved two distinct demonstrators models: one featuring an 8-meter (26ft) wingspan and another with a 3-meter wingspan. These eVTOL prototypes underwent rigorous testing procedures as part of the programme. This successful completion represents a significant milestone for Singapore’s ambitions within the burgeoning urban air mobility sector.
