Australian Defence Force, RAAF roll out low carbon fuel blends nationwide

The Australian Defence Force (ADF), including the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), is implementing low carbon liquid fuel (LCLF) blends across its entire operational network. This rollout commenced with initial deployments in several key locations throughout Australia. The LCLF blends represent a significant step towards reducing the ADF’s carbon footprint and aligning with sustainability goals. Currently, the initiative focuses on utilizing commercially available LCLF options from various suppliers. Further expansion of this program is planned to encompass more aircraft types and geographic areas within the RAAF's operations.
