Red Sea Airlines, based in Egypt, has finalized a leasing agreement with SMBC Aviation Capital for the acquisition of two Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. The deal was formally signed by Chief Executive Ahmed Shanan and Chairman Hatem Kenawy alongside board members at Red Sea Airlines headquarters. Deliveries are slated to commence during July and August of 2027. This expansion represents a significant step forward for the airline’s fleet modernization strategy.
