Iberia wins unrestricted approval for A350 heavy maintenance

Iberia has received authorization from Spain’s aviation safety authority, AESA, to conduct comprehensive heavy maintenance across its complete Airbus A350 fleet. This landmark decision grants Iberia’s Heavy Maintenance division full maintenance capabilities for the aircraft without any operational restrictions. The Spanish Aviation Safety and Security Agency formally approved this authorisation marking a significant milestone for the airline's operations. Previously, limitations existed regarding the A350’s maintenance procedures; now, Iberia can fully utilize its resources on these aircraft.
