MTU Maintenance lands first North African LEAP contracts

MTU Maintenance has achieved a significant milestone by securing its initial maintenance agreements for CFM International's LEAP-1A engines within the North African market. These contracts were established with Air Cairo, representing MTU’s strategic expansion into this region. Specifically, the agreement encompasses the servicing of 42 LEAP-1A engines that power nineteen Airbus A320neo aircraft operated by Air Cairo. This represents a substantial commitment from MTU as it establishes itself in North Africa. The move underscores the growing demand for LEAP-1A engine maintenance services globally and solidifies MTU’s position as a key provider.
