AeroSHARK “shark skin” set for Airbus A330

Lufthansa Technik is finalizing Supplemental Type Certification (STC) processes for AeroSHARK’s application on Airbus A330 aircraft models. Discover Airlines' A330-200 will be the inaugural Airbus jet to receive the drag-reducing technology. The installation and subsequent flight testing are scheduled as part of this final phase. This initiative targets both the A330-200 and A330-300 variants, expanding potential applications. Ultimately, AeroSHARK aims to reduce aerodynamic drag across a range of Airbus aircraft.
