Icelandair further expands A320neo fleet through additional lease agreement

Icelandair is bolstering its Airbus A320neo aircraft fleet with a new lease agreement, securing six twinjets from US-based lessor Aircastle. These additions are slated for delivery before the summer operations of 2028. The total acquisition plan involves ten A320neos, representing a significant expansion strategy for the Icelandic carrier. This latest move complements an existing order and positions Icelandair to meet anticipated demand during peak travel seasons. Currently, four additional A320neos are being sourced as part of this larger investment.
