Heart reveals ES-36 as it rejigs design for the fourth time

Heart Aerospace has announced the development of the ES-36, marking its fourth redesign iteration for a new aircraft intended for market release. The company initially pursued a hybrid-electric design resembling the ES-30 but ultimately shifted to a “simplified” twin-electric motor configuration. This revised approach features two nacelles and incorporates a series-hybrid system. Heart Aerospace’s decision prioritizes a streamlined design over the original four-engine plan. Production remains underway with the goal of delivering this latest version of their electric aircraft.
