First Dutch Caracal special forces helicopter enters production

Airbus Helicopters has commenced the build phase of the inaugural H225M Caracal for the Netherlands at its facility in Marignane, France. This significant milestone was achieved on October 7th, marking a key step forward in the acquisition program. The contract, finalized late last year, encompasses the delivery of twelve H225Ms to the Dutch armed forces. These helicopters are specifically designed for special operations roles, enhancing the capabilities of the Royal Netherlands Air Force. Airbus Helicopters anticipates this production will bolster operational readiness within the Dutch military framework.
