Delta CRJ-900 & Frontier A320 Collide During Pushback At Charlotte Airport

A collision occurred between a Delta CRJ-900 aircraft operated by Delta Air Lines and a Frontier Airlines A320neo jet at Charlotte Douglas International Airport on Tuesday morning. The incident took place while both planes were undergoing pushback operations, which is the process of maneuvering an aircraft away from its gate before takeoff. As a direct result of the crash, both flights – one operated by Delta and another by Frontier – have been cancelled indefinitely.
