The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) investigation into the crash of a Piper PA-24 aircraft near Sandpoint Airport in Idaho revealed critical details about the flight's final moments. According to witness accounts, the plane was observed approaching the runway at an unusually low altitude and speed prior to impact.
