Canada welcomes its first two Pilatus PC-21 ‘Siskin II’ trainers

Ottawa has received Canada's inaugural pair of Pilatus PC-21 aircraft, designated as ‘Siskin II’ trainers. These Swiss-manufactured turboprops completed a ferry flight from Europe to arrive in Gatineau, Quebec on September 17th. The delivery marks an important step within the Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) program, designed by the Canadian government. Representatives showcased the new aircraft publicly following their arrival. This acquisition will significantly enhance pilot training capabilities for the Royal Canadian Air Force.
