CFM lands record IndiGo engine order, wins new deals from lessors

CFM International has finalized a substantial agreement with IndiGo for over 1,000 LEAP-1A engines. This significant order will power 510 Airbus A320neo-family aircraft, representing the largest single purchase of LEAP engines to date. Alongside this landmark deal with IndiGo, CFM secured engine selections from Jackson Square Aviation (JSA) and SMBC Aviation Capital. These new agreements demonstrate continued strong demand for CFM’s LEAP-1A engines across various leasing companies. The memorandum of understanding with IndiGo solidifies CFM's position as a leading supplier within the aviation industry.
