Bombardier agrees to acquire MHI Canada Aerospace assets

Bombardier has reached an agreement to purchase the assets of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) Canada Aerospace (MHICA), located in Mississauga, Ontario. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and standard closing conditions, with a projected completion date later this year. This acquisition will integrate MHICA’s aerostructure manufacturing capabilities into Bombardier's operations. Approximately 750 employees from MHICA will transition to Bombardier as part of the deal. Bombardier intends to bolster its expertise through this strategic investment within the aerospace sector.
