Boeing lands fresh orders from AerCap, Luxair and Uganda Airlines

Boeing has secured new aircraft commitments from three prominent airlines: AerCap, Luxair, and Uganda Airlines, bolstering demand for both the 737 MAX and 787 Dreamliner families. Aircraft lessor AerCap’s order of fifteen Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners expands their existing 787 fleet to approximately 140 aircraft. This significant agreement incorporates substitution rights allowing for the potential acquisition of larger 787-10 models. Luxair is set to take delivery of a single 737 MAX 8 aircraft, while Uganda Airlines will receive two 737 MAX 8 jets. These orders collectively represent a substantial investment in Boeing's current product lines, signaling continued confidence from major players within the aviation industry.
