Airbus launches Wing of Tomorrow flight campaign

Airbus has initiated a three-year flight test program focused on evaluating high-span wings for future single-aisle aircraft, representing the subsequent stage of its ‘Wing of Tomorrow’ initiative. During this period, Airbus will undertake the design, construction, and flight testing of full-scale wing extensions intended to be integrated onto an A321neo platform. These tests aim to meticulously assess the performance characteristics of these extended wings.
