ZeroAvia has named Christine Ourmieres-Widener as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. This appointment follows the departure of founder Val Miftakhov in late May, who had previously served as executive chair. Ourmieres-Widener is currently leading ZeroAvia on an interim basis while the company undertook a search for a permanent CEO. The board selected her to guide the hydrogen propulsion developer forward with its existing strategy. Prior to this role, Ourmieres-Widener was the former chief of TAP Air Portugal.
