Zeiss debuts smaller, lighter HUD system for business and commercial aircraft

Zeiss Aerospace unveiled its new head-up display (HUD) system at the Farnborough air show. The innovative system is designed specifically for business and commercial aircraft platforms. According to Zeiss, this new HUD boasts a significant reduction in size, up to 80% smaller than existing models currently available. This advancement results in a wider field of view, reaching up to 42 degrees. The company’s goal with this technology is to enhance pilot situational awareness during flight operations.
