Sustainability initiative launched by King Charles working to scale up SAF volumes

The Sustainable Markets Initiative (SMI), supported by King Charles, is undertaking a significant effort to increase the production and utilization of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). This ambitious program will concentrate on engaging ten of the world’s busiest airports as key participants in scaling up SAF volumes. Specifically, SMI intends to focus its efforts on the top ten highest-traffic airport locations globally. The initiative aims to drive substantial growth within the SAF sector through collaborative action at these critical hubs.
