Uzbekistan takes delivery of first C-390 Millennium aircraft

Embraer has completed the delivery of Uzbekistan’s inaugural C-390 Millennium multi-mission transport aircraft, signifying a significant milestone for the Central Asian nation's aviation capabilities. The handover ceremony took place at Embraer’s headquarters in Gavião Peixoto, Brazil, underscoring the importance of this strategic partnership. Major General Akhmad Jamolovich Burkhonov, commander of the Uzbek Air Force, was present to receive the new asset. This acquisition represents Uzbekistan’s first operational entry into advanced military airlift platforms. The C-390 Millennium is now poised to bolster logistical support and enhance operational readiness within the Uzbek armed forces.
