United confirms first international destinations for ‘Born to Explore’ A321XLR

United Airlines has announced the initial international routes planned for its new “Born to Explore” Airbus A321XLR aircraft program. The airline will initially operate these flights between San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and London Heathrow Airport (LHR). Following their debut in London, the aircraft are scheduled to fly from SFO to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG). United anticipates commencing service with this fleet of A321XLRs during the third quarter of 2024. These long-range aircraft represent a significant investment by United as they expand their transatlantic offerings.
