The airline will acquire four new 737 MAX 8 jetliners, representing their entry into the Boeing family. Simultaneously, Uganda Airlines has committed to purchasing four Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner long-range airframes. This marks the first time Uganda Airlines has placed an order directly with Boeing for commercial aircraft. These acquisitions are expected to significantly enhance Uganda Airlines’ operational capabilities and expand its network reach across Africa.
