Airbus is utilizing a newly introduced instrumentation station, originally developed for the A350-1000ULR, to support testing of its upcoming A350 freighter aircraft. The airframer intends to conduct the initial flight with a crew consisting of five individuals. This maiden flight is currently targeted for around the end of the third quarter. Airbus anticipates using simulations to prepare the test crews for operating the cargo variant. The A350 freighter will be fitted with system instrumentation used for the A350-1000ULR.
