Airbus Inks Major Deals With 2 Vietnamese Airlines For Up To 50 A320s, 5 A350s

Airbus has secured significant aircraft orders with two major Vietnamese airlines, Vietnam Airlines and Pacific Aviation Express Services (PAXS). The agreements cover a substantial number of Airbus planes, including up to fifty units of the A320 family and five A350 widebody jets. Deliveries are slated to commence in 2029 for the A320s, marking a considerable expansion for both carriers. This order represents a strategic move by Airbus to bolster its presence within Southeast Asia’s growing aviation market. Vietravel is expected to undergo rapid fleet transformation as part of this deal.
