Siberian carrier Yakutia suspends local flights over Dash 8 component hold-up

Yakutia, a Siberian turboprop airline, has suspended its domestic services within the Sakha republic due to maintenance needs for De Havilland Dash 8-300 aircraft. This suspension is directly linked to a delay in receiving landing gear parts for the aircraft. Yakutia has operated Dash 8s – both -300 and -400 variants – for over ten years. Currently, the carrier holds only a limited number of -300 models. FlightGlobal reports that this situation impacts the airline’s ability to continue scheduled flights until the necessary components are secured.
