Romanian F-16s destroy suspected Russian naval drone with strafing run over Black Sea

A pair of Lockheed Martin F-16 fighter jets from Romania intercepted and destroyed a suspected Russian naval drone in the Black Sea. The unmanned underwater vehicle was approaching the Neptune Deep offshore gas platform, located approximately 80 nautical miles (150km) east of a coastal city. Romanian forces conducted a strafing run against the unidentified drone. This incident occurred within the territorial waters of the Black Sea. Military officials have not yet released further details regarding the operation or the extent of damage caused.
