Saab takes wraps off new ‘loyal wingman’ concept

Saab presented a mock-up of an autonomous collaborative platform (ACP) designed to potentially evolve into the successor for existing uncrewed technology demonstrators currently under development for the Swedish defence ministry. This ACP represents Saab's vision for a high-end capability that could enter service by the middle of the 2030s, contingent upon securing a development contract. The company believes this new platform will significantly enhance operational effectiveness through collaboration. Currently, Saab is focused on developing two uncrewed technology demonstrators in Sweden. These demonstrations are intended to pave the way for the eventual deployment of the ACP system.
