Bucharest-based airline TAROM has taken delivery of its inaugural Boeing 737-8 aircraft from CDB Aviation, the Irish subsidiary of China Development Bank Financial Leasing. This marks a significant milestone for TAROM as it integrates this new generation jet into its operational fleet. The Romanian flag carrier intends to expand its fleet with four additional 737-8s through operating and finance leases. Specifically, the initial two aircraft are being acquired via lease agreements established with CDB Aviation. These deliveries represent an important step in modernizing TAROM’s current air transport capabilities.
