RECARO R2 seats set for American Airlines debut

RECARO Aircraft Seating is preparing to deliver its R2 seats to American Airlines this autumn, marking the manufacturer’s initial supply to the US carrier. The selection of the R2 was driven by its pre-certification status and suitability for American Airlines' entry-into-service timeline. Specifically designed for short- and medium-haul flights, the seat incorporates a tablet holder as one of its features. This deployment represents an expansion of RECARO’s footprint within the Embraer aircraft market segment. Ultimately, American Airlines will be utilizing the innovative R2 seating solution on their operational routes.
