Raytheon UK unleashes Red Kite precision-guided bomb

Raytheon UK has unveiled the Red Kite precision-guided weapon, designed for integration with the Royal Air Force’s (RAF) Eurofighter Typhoons. The lightweight system is presented as a cost-effective and high-volume capability intended to increase weapons loadouts. This new offering directly competes with Raytheon's existing Paveway IV precision-guided bombs. Officials believe this solution will bolster UK stockpiles of these critical munitions. Initial testing and deployment are slated to commence shortly following final RAF approval.
