Qantas has announced its definitive decision to retire its Airbus A380 fleet following a long-running operational and financial assessment. The last scheduled commercial flight utilizing this aircraft will depart from Melbourne International Airport to Los Angeles International Airport on October 24th. This date represents the culmination of years operating the iconic double-deck airliner across various routes. Following this change, Qantas is transitioning entirely to the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner for international travel.
