Polish startup Ares Shield hired to protect data center satellites with high-power microwave weapons

Lonestar Data Holdings has secured a contract with Polish startup Ares Shield for safeguarding its satellite-based data centers. This agreement represents an investment of up to $6 million from the Florida-based company. Ares Shield will deploy high-power microwave weapons systems designed specifically to defend these facilities located beyond Earth’s atmosphere. The purpose of this initiative is to mitigate potential threats against Lonestar's critical infrastructure in space.
