A Piper PA-24 aircraft crashed into waters off the coast of Alaska, resulting in the tragic loss of all four individuals on board. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) initiated a preliminary investigation following the incident which occurred close to Seldovia. Investigators have confirmed that the small plane became fully submerged immediately upon impact with the water. There is currently no information available regarding the cause or circumstances surrounding the crash. Recovery efforts are underway at this time.
