No survivors from Nazca sightseeing Caravan crash: Peruvian ministry

A Cessna 208 Caravan carrying thirteen people crashed during a tourist flight over the Nazca archeological site in Peru on August 1st. The accident occurred while the aircraft was conducting a sightseeing tour, according to reports from Peru’s ministry of transport. Investigators are currently examining the circumstances surrounding the emergency call received before contact with the Aerodiana operated aircraft was lost. As of today, August 3rd, there have been no survivors reported following the fatal crash. Authorities have not yet released details regarding the nature of the emergency communication transmitted prior to the loss of signal.
