Nigeria’s first Bell AH-1Z attack helicopter enters production

Bell has commenced production work on Nigeria's inaugural Bell AH-1Z attack helicopter at its Amarillo assembly line. This acquisition involves a total of twelve helicopters, with the initial unit now taking shape under an agreement between Abuja and Bell. The project was formally launched on September 16th, as confirmed by a visit from Nigerian officials including Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, the air force chief of staff. These new aircraft will be delivered to the Nigerian armed forces. The deal represents a significant investment for Nigeria’s defense capabilities and modernization efforts.
