Boeing CEO gives update on 737 production, MAX 10 progress and 777X flight tests

Kelly Ortberg, Boeing President and CEO, provided an overview of the company’s current operational status during a presentation to Morgan Stanley analysts on July 26, 2023. Production of the 737 aircraft remains at approximately 50 per month, meeting previously stated targets. The development of the 737 MAX 10 continues with deliveries expected in late 2024 or early 2025, contingent upon FAA certification. Flight testing for the 777X is ongoing, with recent tests focusing on aerodynamic performance around Singapore. Boeing anticipates completing initial flight test phases by the end of this year.
