Nigeria set to receive first three M-346FAs

Nigeria is preparing to take delivery of its initial fleet of three Leonardo M-346FA advanced jet trainers, with an original target date of 2025 previously established. The Nigerian Air Force has successfully completed factory acceptance tests for this first batch at Leonardo’s production site in Venegono, Italy. A delegation from the Nigerian Air Force participated directly in these crucial assessments. These tests verified that all three aircraft have satisfied specified requirements and standards. This acquisition represents a significant upgrade to Nigeria's air capabilities, bolstering their training programs.
