Newly-approved Il-114-300 undergoing high-temperature tests to expand capabilities

Following its June type certificate approval from Rosaviatsia, the newly certified Ilyushin Il-114-300 turboprop is currently participating in a series of high-temperature testing procedures. Russian developers, operating under Rostec’s direction, are focused on broadening the aircraft's operational versatility through these specialized assessments. The tests are being conducted in Uzbekistan, two months after the aircraft received its type certification. These evaluations aim to enhance the Il-114-300’s ability to operate effectively across diverse environmental conditions. Ultimately, this expansion will increase the aircraft’s adaptability for various missions and applications within the aviation sector.
