NASA’s Pandora Mission Begins Study of Exoplanets, Host Stars

NASA's Pandora mission has commenced its study of exoplanets and their host stars as part of the Astrophysics Pioneers program. This marks the first time a satellite from NASA is launching through this initiative. The primary objective of Pandora is to analyze the atmospheres of no fewer than twenty distinct exoplanets. Scientists will specifically investigate atmospheric components such as hazes, clouds, and the potential presence of water. Data collected by Pandora promises to significantly advance our understanding of planetary systems outside our own solar neighborhood.
