MTU readies for ground tests of Flying Fuel Cell demonstrator

MTU Aero Engines is preparing to conduct ground tests of its Flying Fuel Cell (FFC) demonstrator at its Munich site. Assembly has commenced on the initial pre-production 350kW fuel cell stack, marking a key step in the FFC program’s development. The German propulsion firm anticipates future collaboration with Airbus regarding this technology. These upcoming ground tests will evaluate the full-system demonstrator currently under construction.
