Lufthansa’s first Starlink-equipped aircraft enters service

German airline group Lufthansa has initiated a comprehensive program to equip its entire fleet with SpaceX's Starlink in-flight Wi-Fi service. The initial installation occurred on the airline’s first aircraft, marking the commencement of this ambitious rollout. By 2029, all 850 jets operated by Lufthansa Group and its affiliated airlines will be outfitted with the system. This initiative represents a significant investment aimed at enhancing passenger connectivity during flights. SpaceX’s technology will provide high-speed internet access across the carrier’s global network, improving operational efficiency.
