The transaction, initially signed on September 7, 2026, involved acquiring LUG from the Dettmer Group. This strategic move establishes LUG as a fully owned subsidiary within Lufthansa Cargo’s operations. The acquisition significantly enhances Lufthansa Cargo's cargo handling capabilities specifically in Germany.
