Korean Air finalises order for 103 Boeing jets, engines

Korean Air has finalized a substantial order with Boeing, solidifying an agreement announced in August 2025. The deal totals approximately $45 billion and encompasses the acquisition of 103 aircraft across various models. Specifically, Korean Air is ordering twenty Boeing 777-9s, twenty-five Boeing 787-10s, fifty Boeing 737-10s, and eight Boeing 777-8F freighters. This significant investment represents a $36.2 billion commitment for the SkyTeam operator. These new planes will bolster Korean Air’s fleet capacity and operational capabilities as it continues to expand its global network.
